The studio
Founded by Los Angeles–based creative consultant Wallis Sugg, Dull Objects is a multidisciplinary studio that helps brands build worlds that feel intentional, refined, and real. Working across fashion, interiors, hospitality, and lifestyle, the studio blends strategy, storytelling, and visual direction to create cohesive identities that resonate and endure.
Wallis began her career in fashion marketing in New York City before moving to Los Angeles in pursuit of a slower, more creative life. Drawing from her background in both design and brand strategy, she approaches every project with curiosity, restraint, and a belief that taste is a business model. The smallest creative decisions are often what separate good from great.
Her work centers on bringing clarity and warmth to brands through thoughtful storytelling, content, and community. To her, building a brand is much like creating a home — it should feel layered, lived-in, and deeply personal.
